Sharing baked goods is a tradition that my husband and I grew up with and still practice today.  Being able to gather together and enjoy a confection of someone's kitchen and heart is something we want to pass down to our children.  

Our 5 children (one in heaven) are unique.  Each one has a long story of how they became part of our family.  Each also endure many medical obstacles on a daily basis.  Baking is one way we are able give back to their childhood, whether that be money for a trip, an experience, or special tool that will enrich their lives.

 Eventually the bakery will also be an opportunity for them to learn a trade in an adaptive environment.
